Amazon’s diversity and inclusion data shows that, as of Dec., 31, 2018, the company’s global gender breakdown is 58.3 percent men and 41.7 percent women. In manager positions, it’s 73.2 percent men and 26.8 percent women. The company says it is continuously striving for better representation across its various businesses. And it’s far from alone among tech companies in employing more men than women.

Among retail companies that are watching Amazon drive a steamroller over their businesses, there’s a growing sentiment that there’s no reason to continue bankrolling that operation. AWS provides nearly all of the operating profit for the larger retail corporation, helping fund its (for now) money-losing international expansion and giving it cover with Wall Street.

Amid this evolving picture, 51Parcel struck a collaborative partnership with the French infant formula manufacturer Danone, to help it transport bulk volumes of its product to China, and to assist it to boost marketing in the country.

Among large enterprises, Microsoft is even closer to Amazon with 43 percent of respondents saying they use Azure in some way, to 59 percent for AWS. Obviously, these numbers exceed 100 percent, but many enterprises use multiple cloud providers.
